SMI currently has over 85,000 sft. of various types of warehouse space available to lease on either a short term temporary or long term basis depending on the needs of our customers. This space can be used to solve seasonal peak space demand issues or as satellite warehouse space as part of an overall logistics strategy. As an option to straight leased space, SMI also offers a 3PL (third party logistics) solution where our employees can operate your satelite warehouse. Standard services include receiving and preparation of goods for shipment. Additional services may include inspection, light assembly, packaging, custom labeling, inventory control and management, invoicing, document preparation, and direct shipment to your customer. This service can be provided as a set square footage warehouse or it can be based on the actual amount of pallet positions that your firm uses during a given month.
